Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering



The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering was formed in 1845, although it was known as the Department of Civil & Municipal Engineering prior to 1991.

Material research conducted in the Department falls within the area of Engineering Materials and includes; concrete materials technology, characterising the behaviour of particulate material and the analysis of structural materials.
